Dana Drissel

Surrogate Case Manager

Dana is local to the Greater Philadelphia area. Her main ministry is her family: her three daughters and husband. Dana is a Certified Postpartum and Birth Doula and loves helping families adjust to their new additions. In 2022, she started her own doula collective where she mentors new doulas, educates families, and normalizes the postpartum period. As a doula (in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum), she has had the pleasure of experiencing diversity from family to family and especially loves that each situation is unique and special to the individuals.

In 2018, Dana delivered surrogate twins (boy/girl) to a Chinese family. The combination of her interests, education, and experience as a surrogate really drove her to find a career in the surrogacy realm. After delivering the surrogate twins, Dana continued to pump breastmilk for Prolacta Bioscience, a company that provides breast milk to NICU infants across the country. She loved being able to continue to help families in the postpartum period and was blessed to provide milk for almost three years.

Dana is also studying Social Work and plans to finish her BSW after her home and work life settles down. Her five-year plan is to go on to finish her MSW, and become a counselor for couples struggling with infertility and infant loss. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and going for long walks on the beach. She also is a hobby photographer and believes that she has the best models to practice on (her kids!)

Dana is compassionate, caring, and empathetic. As a surrogate, mom, and doula, she understands most of what a surrogate is feeling in this process. She is determined to support the community to the best of her ability and is elated to be a part of Heart to Hands.
