Heart to Hands was founded in October 2011.  

 

What qualifications do you have to run a surrogacy agency?

Heart to Hands brings an incredible list of qualifications to the table. Our director is a midwife, a retired four-time surrogate (six babies), formerly worked as a legal assistant in a surrogacy law firm for six years, and is an active member of several professional organizations. She also is a sought-after speaker and educator on surrogacy topics. 

 

How many clients do you help a year?

Heart to Hands Surrogacy serves 30-40 clients a year.

 

How many employees do they have?

Heart to Hands has a full team there is someone available to support you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  

 

Do you screen surrogates medically and psychologically before matching them with clients?

Heart to Hands has an extensive screening process for potential surrogates who apply to the agency. We refer surrogates after you have been matched to a qualified mental health care provider for psychological evaluations and to your clinic for the medical evaluation.

 

Are the prices you quote as estimates what your clients actually pay?

It’s impossible to give a firm cost of a surrogacy journey since there are so many different people involved.  In general, you can expect a surrogacy journey to cost $160,000 - $190,000 (excluded embryo creation)

 

Have you been sued by clients or surrogates, or involved in any other surrogacy-related legal disputes?

 No.

 

Have you ever had parentage judgments or adoptions denied or delayed?

No.

 

Who do you use for funds management and holding?

Heart to Hands refers you to a reputable, legal, insured, third-party funds holding service. With a funds holding service, you ALWAYS have full access to your financial records, transparency of where your money is being spent, and peace of mind knowing your money is safe. 

 

Can we use our own attorney, doctor, funds holder, etc?

We love working with new providers and welcome any provider you have a relationship with. We also have a large established network of third-party professionals who we can recommend to you.
